Saint Siffrein is a very old-school Chateauneuf du Pape estate - founded firmly on the greatness of Grenache picked ripe and made in concrete tanks and big, old, barrels. Their Cotes du Rhone is old-school, too, with oodles of ripe black cherry and currant fruit matched by handfuls of Provencal herb and cracked black pepper. Great texture here, with loads of minerality and food-friendly grip.
